We wanted to create a better working environment for our team to promote collaborative working and move away from a hierarchical layout. We have a one-team-approach to all our clients so it was imperative to have an office design that improved communication between our core client teams; Design, Estimating, Sales & Project Management.
The new scheme includes a meeting room suitable for client meetings with good access to sample finishes, brochures and large screen for presentations. No individual offices to increase communication but quiet spaces for when we need to concentrate. Foliage has been introduced to tie in with our rural surroundings and bring a natural twist to the design. Sit-stand desks have been a winner to allow staff to work at any desired height.
Other features include a great flooring design, open canteen space that can also hold ad-hoc meetings, feature lighting and acoustic panelling.
Our client wanted to maintain a strong brand identity for their office spaces, in line with their nationwide gyms. This included refurbishing and re-branding their Leeds offices initially, followed by various other locations, including their London HQ.
