15 Charities to Celebrate 15 Years

Jeremy Poole

This year we turned 15, and to mark the occasion, we decided to dedicate this anniversary to giving back to our community.

So every month since October 2024, we’ve been supporting a different charity close to our hearts to raise awareness and make a difference.

From care packages to CPR training and running 10k races, our teams have done something special each month to say thanks to our people, our clients and our community.

The 15 months aren’t over yet, but we thought we’d share what we’ve done so far.

October

Starting off our 15 months of giving back we sponsored Killinghall Nomads Juniors Football Club, providing new football tops for their U14 Girls team.

November

We made sure every child at Meadowfield Primary School received a gift from Santa, by donating 250 selection boxes to their Christmas Gala.

December

The Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day is a tradition we hold close to our hearts, it was a chance to get festive whilst raising money for such an important cause.

January

Kicking off 2025, we donated 165kg of food to the Leeds Food Bank, which served nearly 400 meals for our local people!

February

We took part in the RevivR CPR training in support of the British Heart Foundation, a simple and life-saving course that taught us something new, could potentially save a life, and raise awareness for heart health.

March

Dave, our Site Manager, took on his first ever 10k run to raise an incredible £910 for the SSAFA charity that supports veterans, serving personnel and their families, offering vital help when they need it most.

April

In support of the Rob Burrow Centre of MND, we sent out care packages to bereaved families and carers in April to show a little love, comfort and remind them they are not alone.

May

To raise awareness and support Breast Cancer Now the team took on the 100 Miles in May challenge, from early morning jogs to evening strolls, every step counted!

June

We hosted a bake sale to raise funds and awareness for St Gemma’s Hospice. The whole team got involved in baking (and taste testing) delicious homemade treats. We raised £1,350 in total!

July

Our team came together in July to support MS Trust by wearing blue – the charity’s official colour. A simple but powerful way to show our support for a cause close to our hearts.

August

For the Woodland Trust’s Free Trees for Schools and Communities scheme, we donated 50 trees.

September

We’ll be sponsoring the Wetherby 10k in support of Active Against Cancer, and 7 of our fantastic team will be laced up, ready to take on the race too!

We’re excited to continue this journey for the last few months, keep an eye out on our socials for updates on what we get up to!
