Thornton & Ross were looking for a workspace that was modern, inspiring and tailored to meet the specific needs of their teams.
Spaces that supported collaborative and agile working were a key requirement.
Building Interiors carried out extensive workplace consultancy briefings to gain an in-depth understanding of how the various teams; interacted, performed their daily tasks and wanted to progress in the future. This resulted in a design that met the brief and catered for all aspects that the workforce required.
A full refurbishment of office areas, reception, canteen, washrooms and common areas was carried out including opening up various cellular areas to achieve open, modern and collaborative spaces.
The new Process Unit office brings cross functional teams together, sharing the daily challenges, goals, solutions, sharpening decision making and working in an environment that really inspires and facilitate creativity and drive as a team. This is an exciting step forward for our factory!
Such a fantastic milestone for the site! This allows our Process Unit teams to collocate and collaborate further in this creative modern space. Can’t wait to see the next few phases coming together. Well done to the whole project team for this quick turnaround – great start to the New Year.
