What the client was looking for?

NL Group are a leading supplier of specialist healthcare staffing and recruitment solutions to private healthcare providers and the NHS throughout Yorkshire.

Building Interiors were invited to tender for the design, refurbishment and fit out of NL Groups’ new offices in Hull. The brief was to design a modern workplace that effectively utilised space to enhance productivity and featured breakout spaces and tea-points where their employees could relax and interact.

We presented our design to the team at NL Group. After being impressed with our interpretation of the brief and approach to office design and fit-out projects we were asked us to undertake completion of the project works.

 Scope of what was delivered?

To ensure we fully captured the objectives and requirements of the project for NL Group, in the initial phase of the project we conducted interviews with key project stakeholders. We also conducted a workplace and space analysis in order to align the way that the business functions with the space available.

The complete project consisted of offices, meeting rooms, breakout areas, tea points and toilets over 2 floors. We also worked closely alongside the client’s incumbent IT & electrical contractors to provide new lighting, power & data.

Over the course of the project, we supplied & fitted;

  • Both solid & glass partitions with walnut doors
  • Vinyl Digital feature walls
  • New feature plasterboard ceiling to boardroom & meeting areas
  • Both hard & soft flooring including feature carpet inlays
  • Decoration throughout
  • Complete refurbishment of all toilets and tea-points
  • Glass sliding doors
  • Feature pendant lighting

How Building Interiors delivered what the client needed?

As a result of the work undertaken by Building Interiors, NL Group now have a bright, modern and engaging new office space that reflects the professionalism and culture of their brand and is designed to enhance the way their teams function on a day-to-day basis.

We delivered the project on-time, on-budget and within a 6-week timeframe. The client was delighted with the finished scheme, so much so that we have been invited back to look at providing new furniture solutions and huddle pods.
