G-Wu Chinese Restaurant

Sectors:Restaurants

Our Specialism:Internal strip-out and fit out of G-Wu Chinese Restaurant

Location:Leeds

Our client had completed a concept design with a local architects practice in Leeds.  The brief was the expansion of their existing restaurant by combining with the adjacent, vacant unit.  It was decided that this would be accompanied by a total re-brand of the business.

With the guidance of the client’s architect, the scheme went out to tender to three fit-out companies and, following this process, Building Interiors were awarded the scheme.

Building Interiors initial task was to fully understand the client’s concept and to develop it into a deliverable scheme with a set budget in place.

Through an agreed consultation period, we completed a design and specification along with a fixed price to the set budget. This was achieved alongside the client’s architect, who acted to ensure that the agreed scheme was true to the original concept.

Building Interiors then developed a comprehensive program of works, which covered the below items:

  1. Design and Build
  2. Planning Consent
  3. Building Controls
  4. CDMC
  5. Structural Reports
  6. Space Planning
  7. Furniture Installation
  8. Restaurant Fit-Out:

*including; strip-out, industrial kitchen, bars, air-conditioning, mechanical & electrical, structural alterations, flooring and decoration finishes, toilets and exterior/interior signage

The scheme was delivered successfully and snag free.
