The main building which occupies the corner position on Swinnow Lane and Broad Lane is the old mill building set over 3 storeys with a substantial basement area, accessible from within the site via automatic garage doors. Constructed internally from steel and concrete with the external skin being stone the building is structurally robust.
The mill building is heavily subdivided on ground and first floors. The roof is pitched slate and well maintained. There is a single storey stone extension running along the north side of the site which connects to the mill building.
