What the client was looking for?
Kapitex already own this building with existing rear warehouse space and some very dated meeting areas to the front. Their working office space was in another building close by.
Thinking ahead and forecasting growth, Kapitex needed to provide additional office space so they invited Building Interiors to design a new and exciting space for them. The brief was also to create clean and bright individual and department offices with lots of natural light. This included creating a mezzanine area which could be utilised as short-term storage and be fitted out in the future as additional office space– approximately 300m2 of ground floor offices, meeting spaces, toilets and a tea point area.
Scope of what was delivered?
The complete project consisted of ground floor offices, meeting rooms, tea points and toilets. The mezzanine was boarded out to provide storage space. We also provided new LED lighting, general electrics and data points throughout.

Building Interiors delivered a bright and inviting modern office to Kapitex. By listening and understanding their needs, we developed the perfect layout and design, thereby achieving their expectations upon completion of the project. We created offices and meeting rooms all with single glazed front doors and walls to maximise the natural light from the external windows. This created a central core area which the client loves as a meeting and circulation area which promotes a positive impact on how they work together.
